Croplands Helps Grow a Better Tomorrow
Croplands is a proud supporter of Wirreanda Secondary School's Community Garden Project.
Croplands is a proud supporter of the Wirreanda Secondary School Community Garden Project which encourages students and staff to get involved with growing fresh fruit and vegetables. The school recognised that a lot of processed food supplied to the school and wanted to re-educate the community on the benefits of making healthy, sustainable lifestyle choices through their Community Garden Project.
Wirreanda is a low-socio-economic school with a Disability Unit, Special Class and WAVE (Wirreanda adaptable vocational education) program. They have a number of Aboriginal Students that are supported by our active ATSI program and are a diverse school that promotes inclusivity and bringing the community together.
Croplands was one of many that supported the project, including Scott Rogasch and Justin Westoff of Forage Supply Co. and June Taylor of SA Life, SA Gardens Garden Drum, Radio presenter and producer of Michael Keelan’s Garden program.
