New Premises
On December 11th 2007 the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries, the Hon. Rory McEwen, officially opened Croplands new facilities at Dry Creek. The opening also saw the launch of two products developed by The South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI) and commercialised through Croplands - the new Quantum Mist™ 380 fan and the new SARDI Coverage Kit.

Versatile enough to handle pre and post-emerge applications the RoGator 1286C has been designed to fit the demands of custom applicators and innovative growers. Improvements include increased HP, a new six-speed drive package, and new hydrostats.

The new Quantum Mist™ 380 fan caters for smaller tree crops and canopies. It is currently being trialed in New Zealand and is showing promising preliminary results.  Full production is expected to begin next year.

SARDI, in conjunction wtih Croplands, have released a Coverage Kit which involves using a special pigment and a torch to illuminate coverage, allowing growers to evaluate what coverage of spray has genuinely reached the target on their crops.
